Where It All Began
London is the birthplace of Soho Sessions. What started in 2020 as underground house parties during lockdown has evolved into a monthly event series that defines intimate electronic music experiences in the capital.
Based in central London’s Soho district, our events maintain the exclusive, house-party atmosphere that made the early sessions special whilst expanding to established venues across the city.
The London Story
Lockdown Origins
During the 2020 lockdown, founder KOKOH began hosting underground house parties in the heart of Soho. These intimate gatherings quickly gained traction, evolving from private flat parties into weekly broadcasts that captured London’s electronic music community.
The first year saw 52 consecutive weekly sessions, building a dedicated following and establishing the Soho Sessions sound: melodic techno, minimal techno, and carefully curated house music.
Evolution to Venues
As the project outgrew its original locations, Soho Sessions moved to established venues whilst maintaining its intimate atmosphere. Early partnerships with Baaria bar set the foundation for what would become a network of carefully selected venues.
The shift to monthly events allowed for more production value, filmed sessions, and the introduction of resident DJs alongside KOKOH, creating a platform for both emerging and established talent.
Our Venues
Our primary London venue, located in the heart of Soho. 21Soho provides the perfect intimate setting for our monthly sessions, with professional sound systems and an atmosphere that honours our house-party roots.
One of our earliest venue partnerships, Baaria helped bridge the gap between underground house parties and established club nights, hosting memorable sessions during our transition period.
