Soho Sessions is an intimate electronic music series that began during the 2020 lockdown in the heart of London's Soho. What started as underground house parties has evolved into a carefully curated monthly event series, built around shared passion for electronic music and genuine community connection.
During lockdown, KOKOH founded Soho Sessions as underground house parties in Soho’s central area. What began as intimate gatherings in flats quickly grew into weekly broadcasts, capturing the attention of London’s electronic music community.
After 52 weekly sessions, the event outgrew its original home. Moving to established venues like Baaria bar and eventually 21Soho, the format shifted to exclusive monthly events whilst maintaining the intimate atmosphere.
The City Edition was born, bringing Soho Sessions to international audiences. New York, Dallas, and Curaçao became part of the growing network, with each city adding its own flavour to the concept.
Season 6 marked a significant milestone with the inaugural Barcelona edition, establishing a presence in one of Europe’s most vibrant electronic music capitals.
Continuing to refine the experience with filmed sessions, established venue partnerships, and an ever-evolving roster of resident and guest DJs. Season 9 approaches with fresh energy and the same underground ethos.
KOKOH (previously known as JMÖMCOCO) is a British-Venezuelan DJ and music producer based in London. His vision was simple: recreate the relaxed house-party atmosphere in bars and venues, bringing people together through carefully curated electronic music.
Specialising in melodic techno, minimal techno, and various house subgenres, KOKOH’s approach balances technical precision with genuine passion for the music. His sets are known for their journey-like quality, blending ambient textures with driving rhythms.
